COLORADO’S GOVERNOR'S RESIDENCE INTERPRETIVE PLAN

creating connections to Colorado history for elementary school students at the Governor's Residence

An in-depth Interpretive Plan guides the participatory and immersive Colorado history program for third, fourth, and fifth graders at the Governor’s Residence. Students are engaged in understanding Colorado's progression from a territory to statehood through the lives of the leaders and governors who have lived in the Governor's Residence.

The elementary school program includes a 60-minute docent script and exhibits for the History Colorado led educational program, character cards for students, web-based interactive timeline and five-minute video.
